Timothy Gager & Lawrence Kessenich present their books!

Timothy Gager has published 20 books of fiction and poetry, which includes his latest novel, The Shadows of the Seen, forthcoming with Pierian Springs Press in 2025. He hosted the successful Dire Literary Series in Cambridge, MA from 2001 to 2018, and started a weekly virtual series in 2020. He has had over 1000 works of fiction and poetry published, 18 nominations for the Pushcart Prize. His work also has been nominated twice for a Massachusetts Book Award, The Best of the Web, The Best Small Fictions Anthology and has been read on National Public Radio.



Lawrence Kessenich is a fiction writer, poet, playwright, essayist, reviewer, and editor. His first novel is Cinnamon Girl with his second novel being The Further Adventures of Daisy Miller. His short plays have been produced in New York, Boston, and in Colorado, where he won the People's Choice Award in a national drama competition. His full-length play, Anne Frank Lives!, was performed at a festival in New York City. Kessenich was born and raised in Wisconsin. After attending the Radcliffe Publishing Course, he spent 10 years in the trade editorial department at Houghton Mifflin in Boston. ​Since leaving book publishing, Kessenich has made his living first as a technical writer and then as a marketing writer.
