Intro to Bronze Casting

Learn Bronze Casting Techniques to make your own custom hardware through the use of a backyard refractory furnace. This 2-day workshop teaches the basic techniques of pattern making, sand casting, flasks, furnace set-up, melting metal, pouring & releasing, and much more.

Students must wear natural fiber clothes and closed toed work boots

A $195 materials fee is included in the cost of registration and includes casting sand, parting talc, britannia metal, bronze, and consumables. July 19 & 20, 10 - 5pm
