Beginning Metalsmithing for Jewelers - Monday Nights September 8th-29th

This weekly class is a hands-on intro to jewelry-making and metalsmithing. You’ll learn how to shape, join, polish, texture, and patina metal, as well as techniques like how to fabricate a bezel or make a ring. We’ll also talk about different metals, how to work with them, when, how and why they’re used in jewelry. By the end, you’ll leave with plenty of practice samples, finished pieces of wearable jewelry, and solid basic skills to build on.
