Peer pressure is the influence exerted by a group or individuals to encourage someone to conform to certain behaviours, attitudes, or decisions. While it can sometimes be positive—like motivating someone to work harder—it often leads to choices that go against personal beliefs or values. Standing firm in your personal values requires self-awareness, confidence, and sometimes the courage to go against the majority. Peer pressure and personal values often clash, creating internal conflict. To teach you how to handle peer pressure and stay in your personal values, CYC is conducting the workshop on 23rd July 2025.
