About the event

Mera Peak climbing Amphulabtse pass trekking to Lukla
Amphu Labtsa, also known as Amphu Lapche Pass, combined with Mera Peak, offers a superb trek that takes you away from the more frequented Everest trails, leading east over a high pass. Entering the sparsely inhabited Hunku Valley near Mera Peak (6,476 meters), the highest trekking peak in Nepal, you trek northwards through a stunning high alpine environment. The ascent around the north side offers a gentler climb that is equipment-free, suitable for those who are well-acclimatized with strong lungs. The effort is rewarded with breathtaking views of four of the five highest mountains on earth, standing proudly among hundreds of peaks, many still unnamed.
