Kathmandu National Inter-School Art Competition – 2082
Kathmandu National School successfully hosted the Inter-School Art Competition 2082 on Saturday, Shrawan 31, 2082. This creative platform brought together the talents of 15 schools across Kathmandu Valley, including Reliance Residential School, Shikshalaya School, Radiant Readers Academy, Trilok Children Academy, Laliguransh Vidya Kunja, Gandaki Public School, Shikchhyantar School, Babylon National School, Nepal Police School, Gyanodaya Balbatika School, Global Pathshala, Ritambhara Pathashala, Om Gyan Mandir, Ambition Academy, and the host school, Kathmandu National School. Here, young artists expressed their imagination through colours and creativity.
The competition was divided into three groups: Group A for grades 2, 3, and 4; Group B for grades 5, 6, and 7; and Group C for grades 8, 9, and 10. The winners were honoured with medals, certificates, and trophies, celebrating their dedication and artistic brilliance.
We were truly privileged to have: Chief Guest – Mr. Ratna Shakya (modern artist and Chairman of Art Boom), Chief Judge – Mr. Subash Kshitiz Shrestha (senior artist, cartoonist, logo designer, and President of Kriti Artists' Group of Nepal), Judge – Mr Rajendra Bikram Pithakote, (national artist and Art teacher ) Chairperson – Mrs. Anju Thapa (founder principal of Kathmandu National School), and Mr. Arjun Kumar Khadka, the Executive Chairman and guardian of Kathmandu National School, at the event.
This remarkable event celebrated creativity, learning, collaboration, and the spirit of art. Congratulations to all the award-winning young artists for their outstanding achievements! And thank you to all the participating schools.
