GET INSPIRED: From Rural Western Nepal to a Top Liberal Arts College
In USEF’s upcoming Get Inspired program, guest speaker Bhuwan Bhandari an OF Alum and a current student at Colby College, will share his journey from a government school in rural western Nepal to one of the top liberal arts colleges in the United States on a full-ride scholarship. From his early days cutting grass (ghas khatney) in the Western Hills to participating in college seminars on philosophy and mathematics, Bhuwan’s story illustrates how curiosity, determination, and resilience can open unexpected opportunities. He will discuss the challenges he faced, the support that helped him progress, and his experiences studying in a liberal arts environment. Attendees are invited to hear his story and get inspired.
