🌸 Dudh Kunda Lake Trek Overview
Dudh Kunda Lake is a sacred pilgrimage site for Buddhists, Shamans (Dhami Jhakri), and Hindus. It is believed that taking a dip in the lake washes away sins and brings peace and blessings. The lake rests peacefully at the base of Numbur Himal, offering breathtaking Himalayan views.
This trek is a peaceful and off-the-beaten-path journey through lush forests, open landscapes, and traditional Sherpa villages.
Every year during Janai Purnima, many pilgrims, especially Dhami, Jhakris, and Hindus — travel to the lake for spiritual energy and good fortune.
