Hike and Listen

Want to enjoy a short story in nature with pleasant company?

Join us on our 1st Hike and Listen September 2nd @ 5:45PM!

We will meet at the trailhead of Lower Green Swamp Nature Preserve before hiking the 1 mile southeast loop. We will be listening to "The Best Short Stories of 2024" by The O. Henry Prize Winners. The audiobook will be playing over a bluetooth speaker for all to hear.

The southeast loop is a beginner level hike with little shade along the trail. We suggest bringing a bottle of water, sun protection, and a good pair of shoes.

This event is open to children and spouses, however we cannot guarantee that the story will be child friendly as we have not personally listened to/read this collection before.
