Who is Gypsy Schmidt?
Gypsy Schmidt is a singer songwriter from Katherine in the Northern Territory. She has been brought up on a diet of Sara Storer, and Missy Higgins, with influences including Paris Paloma and Noah Kahan. Her song writing is exceptional, delving into complex relationships, conveying an emotional maturity far beyond her years. In 2022 Gypsy won the Royal Darwin Show’s Scholarship to the Academy of Country Music, allowing her to travel and perform at Tamworth Country Music Festival. More recently Gypsy has performed at Darwin Festival, and Big Sound festival in Brisbane. Gypsy is an engaging performer with a beautiful voice that will charm your ears and capture your heart.
