MOBILE WEIGHT
After a 4 week creation residency in Karlsruhe for our new piece, we will be more than happy to share some of our tools and approaches witch you in this workshop.
We are working on physical and mental tools to enhance and raise awareness in the (performing) body, aiming to identify the other human body as a booster of new possibilities of movement.
We analyse the mechanics of movements that can be created between at least two bodies, by trying to understand the most stable parts or structures of the other / our body, to be able to receive or manipulate weight, especially of an off-balance falling body. Our aim is to potentiate movement through clear mechanisms and to find movement possibilities that cannot be executed in that way alone.
We work on the trust, communication, reaction, playfulness and exploration, all that is needed to be able to adapt in the moment to the situation provided by or with a partner or task at hand.
