About your headliner:
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Papa Lu was immersed early in the region’s underground music culture. Starting out by throwing hip hop parties with legends like Digable Planets, Digital Underground, Gang Starr, and Kool Keith, he soon transitioned into house music, producing events such as his long-running Night Moves party at Monarch SF. In 2013, he collaborated with a group of close friends to create The Kazbah, one of Burning Man’s most iconic sound camps, where his late night sets became playa staples. As a producer, his releases on PetFood, Savia Park, Desert Hearts, Music is 4 Lovers, Soul Clap Records, and Popgang have charted on Beatport and gained international support. With festival appearances at BPM, Vujaday, Apparitions, and SXMusic, Papa Lu continues to bring cutting-edge underground energy to dancefloors worldwide.✈️🏝🔉🎶❤️
