GRDA Hydro Display

Join us Wednesday, July 23rd, at 10:30 am for the GRDA Hydro display!

The Grand River Dam Authority (GRDA) has been producing hydroelectricity with the waters of the Grand River since 1940. That’s over 80 years of renewable energy production right here in Northeast Oklahoma!

To help today’s students and tomorrow’s workforce learn more about the process of harnessing water to create electricity, GRDA
is bringing its hydroelectric demonstration to our library.

With a simple tabletop demonstration (which can be adapted for both indoors and outdoors) and a simple, fun activity or two, students can learn more about the process.
