Ohio-based country-folk songsmith Moe Reen writes from the heart, for the heart. A lifelong vocalist, their old-school country voice often garners comparisons to Patsy Cline and Hank Williams—heartbreak crooners of yesteryear. Moe’s lyrics, however, are distinctly modern, be it a finger-picked reflection on the malaise of seasonal depression or a slow-dancing lament comparing climate deniers and unrequited lovers. Moe’s marriage of sentimental sound with contemporary sentiment produces something distinctly their own: earnest lyrics cradled by melodies that tenderly soar to tend to the sore, soft spots of us all.

West Taylor is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer (Moe Reen, Sean Marshall, Gilded Sun). Growing up on Deer Creek outside of Mt. Sterling, Ohio, Taylor was heavily influenced by the Appalachian voices he heard in the church as he looked up to the archetypal singing cowboys he and his grandfather watched on TV. West continues the reverberation of his love for Mountain Music and the Country cassettes his family listened to on the road.

At the confluence of Kirstie Lynn's magnetic voice and Galen Clark's innovative harmonies comes a rich nostalgia longing for understanding. Nature inspired poetry and lush stringed accompaniment offer an introspective lens into the familiar contradiction of the trials and triumphs of life. The intimate style of the duo's performance envelops audiences in dreamlike tapestries spanning tales of melancholy, wanderlust, and memories of time and place.
