Juneteenth in the Dotte

Celebrate Culture, Community and Resiliency at this year's "Juneteenth in the Dotte" Parade and Celebration. Held on Saturday, June 21st, 2025, from 9AM - 2PM. A huge parade will kick off at 27th and Vernon Ave., near the Quindaro Ruins Overlook at 9AM, ending at Klamm Park (2515 N. 27th Street, KCK).

Beginning at 11AM, community members can enjoy a fun filled Juneteenth celebration, including lots of great vendors, live entertainments, games, a car show, drill team competition and so much more....

Juneteenth in the Dotte exists to promote Wyandotte County's Annual Juneteenth Parade. The Juneteenth in the Dotte committee recognizes the holiday is considered the "longest-running African-American holiday" and has been called "America's second Independence Day". Juneteenth is usually celebrated on the third Saturday in June.
