Over the last week, I’ve been sharing all that I experienced and felt at the UNIDOS US conference—the powerful moments, the urgent conversations, and the overwhelming need to not just attend events, but to mobilize, organize, and heal together after them.
So we’re bringing the next chapter of Chicano Solidarity to our community with:
Chicano Solidarity Circle: From LA to KC, We Carry Each Other’s Stories
🗓️ Thursdays – July 24, August 7, August 21, and September 18
🕕 6:00–7:30 PM
📍 2301 Lexington Ave, Kansas City, MO 64124
This isn’t just an event. It’s a gathering of hearts, a circle of truth-telling, healing, and connection rooted in our lived experiences. We meet in resistance, in love, and in a deep commitment to each other.
Each circle will begin with a grounding moment, hold silence for those impacted by injustice, uplift community voices through shared stories, and build our Barrio Map—honoring the places and people that shaped us.
This is how we move forward. Together. From conference halls to our neighborhoods. From LA to KC.
All are welcome. Come with your truth, your story, your presence.
