Brown Bag Concert: "Hands and Feet" Jan Kraybill, organist

Westport Center for the Arts’ presents our final concert of the 2024-25 Brown Bag Concert Season. Friday, May 16, 2025 at 12 noon.

This concert of organ and piano music will include pieces played by hands alone, others written for feet alone, and music that lets the hands and feet dance together! Come hear works spanning centuries, from the 1600s to 2018, by André Campra, J.S. Bach, C.P.E. Bach, Charles Griffes, Rachel Laurin, and Gwyneth Walker.

Jan Kraybill is a Grammy-nominated performer, dynamic speaker, and enthusiastic advocate for the power of music to change lives. In addition to maintaining a very active concert schedule, in Kansas City she is Organ Conservator at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and Organist-in-Residence at Community of Christ headquarters.

The Brown Bag concerts are presented free (donations welcomed) and held in the sanctuary at Westport Presbyterian Church, 201 Westport Road, Kansas City, MO 64111.

Bring a Lunch, if you wish. Coffee and Cookies provided at a reception following the performance.
