~ "The members of Gekko came together in 2013 to display their talent in Kansas City, Missouri, proving their vitality and diversity of the alternative music genre. Their music easily transforms from funk into rock, then into jazz followed by additional transitions of postmodern, fat bass, intense guitar solos, and immersive drums. Gekko sets themselves aside from any other upcoming band with their uniqueness. The band’s easy going nature is complemented by the songs on this album, making it an enjoyable listen.
