Community Sewing Class - May 2025

For anyone in the community, age 12 and up.

Space is limited: registration is required.

According to your skill level, you will learn:

• How to use a sewing machine- thread a sewing machine, winding bobbin, and sew;

• Identify basic sewing equipment- types of scissors, threads, bobbins, seam rippers, measurements, etc.;
• Carry out basic maintenance of a sewing machine;
• Reclaim and reuse fabric and understand fast fashion.
• If you already have basic sewing skills, please let us know in your registration what you would like to learn in this class.

Start on any day during this session and attend as many as you can.
