As we head into 2026, we’re excited to announce that the **Kankakee Farmers’ Market Winter Market** is launching as a pilot market this winter! ❄️🌱
Hosted by Downtown Kankakee and Majestic Weddings & Events, this cozy, indoor market is designed to keep our community connected to local food and makers during the colder months.
Space is limited to approximately 35 vendors, and we’re being intentional about our vendor mix.
**Important vendor notes:**
Crafts and baked goods are currently waitlist only.
For crafts, our focus is on items where the maker’s hand is clearly evident—true handmade goods are preferred.
**What we’re still looking for:**
🥕 Produce vendors (winter vegetables, microgreens, and similar offerings)
🥩 Meat, egg, and dairy vendors
🍯 Specialty food producers (jarred or canned items, shelf-stable foods, etc.)
🌿 Plant-based products such as fresh-cut or dried flowers
🌾 Other adjacent products or services
Our goal is to keep the Winter Market as ag-focused as possible, celebrating local food and farm-based products even in the off-season.
