Kangaroo Valley Show Horse Fundraiser and Lights Ride

This weekend the 2026 Kangaroo Valley Show fundraiser ride will take place as some 20 horse and riders take off on a three day expedition from Budgong, traversing Mt Scanzi and into Kangaroo Valley.

It culminates in the first ever Lights Ride crossing Hampden Bridge on Monday at 6.00pm, when the riders will come back into town with their horses lit up with special LED lighting.
It will be a spectacle and everyone is invited to come and welcome them home.

Organised by Kangaroo Valley Horses, a GoFund Me page has already raised $3,500 of the $10,000 target with all proceeds going directly to build the Show's horse events and prize money.
