🎉🌀 NEW Kids Summer Camp: 4 Days of Clay Workshop 🌀🎉
We’re thrilled to introduce our brand-new clay-focused Kids Summer Camp—a 4-day adventure into the magical world of pottery! Designed especially for ages 6 to 12, this fun-filled workshop blends creative hand-building techniques and wheel throwing to help kids create unique, personalized pottery pieces they’ll be proud of!
👩🎨 Camp Schedule:
📅 Dates: Monday, July 7th - Thursday, July 10th
🕒 Time: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM daily
📍 Location: Kamloops Art Party
👧 Ages: 6 – 12
💲 Cost: $329 + GST per child
👩🏫 Workshop Highlights:
✨ 2 Wheel-Throwing Pottery Lessons: Learn to center, shape, and spin clay on the pottery wheel with hands-on help from our amazing instructors.
✨ 2 Hand-Building Sculpting Sessions: Explore pinch, coil, and slab techniques to bring imaginative clay creations to life.
✨ Create & Keep: Each child will make a minimum of 4 beautiful pieces, professionally fired and glazed. Please note: Pieces take 3–4 weeks to dry and go through the first kiln firing. We’ll contact you when it's time for your child to return and glaze their work (glazing & second firing included in your ticket!).
✨ All Materials Included: Clay, tools, glaze, firings, and instruction—just bring a snack, water, and clothes you don’t mind getting messy!
✨ Small Class Sizes: Limited spots ensure personalized guidance and support throughout the camp.
📌 Camp Policies:
⏰ Arrival: Please arrive on time and send your child with a water bottle and snack.
🧼 Pick-Up: Allow a few extra minutes after camp for clean-up.
👚 Dress Code: Dress for mess! Aprons are provided, but some materials may stain clothing.
❌ Refund Policy: No refunds. Credit may be issued with 14+ days’ notice; valid for 4 weeks.
📞 Emergency Contact: If disruptive behavior occurs, parents will be contacted for immediate pickup. No refunds/credits in such cases.
