Lughnassadh 2025

The Garden of the Crescent Moon Coven will be celebrating Lughnassadh a week late this year due to scheduling conflicts with other events. We will be meeting on Saturday Aug. 9th from 5:30 pm onward. Please bring a dish to share, the theme is grains, wheat, barley, oats, breads and drinks made from grains, as well as other first harvest fruits and vegetables. It is customary to made herbed specialty breads and dishes with some kind of pasta, rice or bread component. Sandwiches of different types are customary as well. Get creative!! As usual bring your lawn chairs and musical instruments. We will be having a story telling of at least one of the Myths of this season, and there might be a few "contests" or "games" in honor of Lugh and his step mother Tailtiu. Hope to see you all here!
