This faith formation experience, offered as a pilgrimage during the Jubilee Year of Hope, delves into the theology and mission of Paul, the Apostle of Hope. It looks afresh at what he, through his letters, offers us in our own pilgrim journey of faith: his distinctive understanding of the nature of Christian hope, its scale and significance, its relationship to suffering and death, and its profound implications for the issues we face today. It explores hope not simply as a gift but as an ecclesial mission. Delivered at St Mary’s, Kalgoorlie, in the Goldfields, it also offers the opportunity to explore the life and history of the region, together with moments of prayer and recollection, in addition to the course materials.
