Originally from Cadillac, Michigan, Luke Winslow-King is a career rock & roll guitarist, singer, producer, and songwriter. Having spent more than 15 years in New Orleans, he was named
‘Best Blues Artist’ by Gambit Magazine. His 2018 hit, 'I'm Glad Trouble Don't Last
Always' reached the Billboard Top 10 blues albums, and is nearing 10 million streams on Spotify, where he has 240,000 monthly listeners. LWK has released 7 full-length records, 4 on the Chicago based Bloodshot Records label, and was named a voting member of the Grammy Recording Academy in 2022.
Now living in Calatayud, Spain, he continues to pursue his global quest; delivering honest, powerful, rustic, and authentic roots music by stage and recording alike. Winslow-King’s upcoming full-length album Flash-A-Magic is slated for release in 2024.
It features: Tuscan slide guitar maestro and co-producer Roberto Luti (Playing for Change), organist Rev. Charles Hodges of Al Green’s band, Fat Possum recording artists The Sensational Barnes Brothers on backing vocals, and was mixed by Grammy Award winning engineer Collin DuPuis.
