The Kalamazoo Civic Youth Theatre's production of Disney's 'Frozen JR.'
Synopsis: This enchanting modern classic from Disney brings princesses Elsa and Anna, the hardworking ice harvester Kristoff, his loyal reindeer Sven, and a happy-go-lucky snowman named Olaf to life, onstage. Filled with adventure, humor, and a touch of magic, Frozen JR. is a story of courage, kindness, and self-discovery.
Ages able to audition - 9 to 18 years of age
Auditions - August 17 or 18, 2025
1st rehearsal/company meeting (one parent/guardian needs to attend with youth) - Tuesday September 2, 2025 at 4:30pm
Performances - October 24, 2025 to November 2, 2025

Those auditioning for the show should plan on being there for the full time. Those only here for tech auditions will be here for an hour or less. Auditionees for the show should be prepared to sing the song from the packet, be ready to dance, and be prepared to read from the script from one of the selected sides in the packet. Packets are available to all the Monday after the audition workshop (August 11, 2025). Please sign up for just one day of auditions.
Those auditioning will need to fill out the audition form, content and intimacy disclosure form and a volunteer form. Volunteer forms need to be done for the youth once a season (June 1, 2025 to May 31, 2026). Once a form has been completed you should not have to fill out another for the season if you are auditioning for any other show. You can fill out the volunteer forms by going to the website at www.kazoocivic.com before the audition date. Forms will also be available starting August 11, 2025 to all.
