BETA DEMO DAY: Founders Pitch Competition

We’re celebrating 5 years of the Black Entrepreneur Training Academy (BETA) — a joint venture program between Black Wall Street Kalamazoo and Sisters In Business — and YOU’RE invited!

Join us for BETA Demo Day, where our latest cohort of Black entrepreneurs will take the stage to pitch their business ideas, compete for funding, and showcase the incredible work they’ve been building.

This event is more than a competition — it’s a celebration of innovation, community, and Black excellence in entrepreneurship.

What to Expect:

Sip & Spin Social (12 PM – 1 PM):

Kick off the day with networking, cocktails, light bites, and dj. Meet the incredible BETA 2025 Cohort at our “Meet the Founder” walk-through experience, pop-up consults and more.

Founders Pitch Competition (1 PM – 1:45 PM):

Finalists take the stage to pitch their businesses in front of judges for a chance to win funding and recognition.

Networking and Socializing (2 PM – 3 PM):

Connect with vendors, BETA Cohort members, pop-up consultations and more!
