CALL FOR DONATION
On 4 October 2025, we shall celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi. With all due consideration to the threats to peace and the environment, and through his saintly inspiration, we are moved to share to the basic ecclesial community of Sitio Lapnes (BEC) his passion in sharing Christ’s peace and environmental care and protection.
9 days before the feast day catechists will visit houses so as to share the devotion to St. Francis of Assisi and distribute prayer pamphlets and posters. This shall culminate in a novena prayer that will happen at the chapel.
On the feast day, we shall celebrate the Holy Eucharist. On that celebration the assigning of St. Francis of Assisi as the titular patron of the Kristyanong Katilinabang sang Lapnes (BEC) and designating the chapel as “Kapilya sang Paghida-et ni San Francisco de Assisi” shall commence.
After the Holy Eucharist, a community meal shall be shared.
