We're returning to the GORGEOUS Loxahatchee River so mark your calendars!!
Come join us in Jupiter, FL for this 8+ mile paddle along the nationally designated Wild and Scenic River. Surrounding the Loxahatchee is a "wide diversity of plant life including both tropical and temperate vegetation as well as lots of wildlife. The narrow winding tea-colored waters are canopied along most of the river by majestic cypress trees offering paddlers a shady, unique, and sometimes challenging experience."
We'll stage and drop gear at Riverbend Park in the early 8:00am hour so we're able to shuttle vehicles at the get out spot and be back to launch closer to 9:30am.
We'd like to leave for shuttling no later than 8:30am as it's just under a 30 minute ride one way. If you miss the shuttle, don't stress. You can park at Riverbend and we'll all work together to ensure everyone gets to their vehicles after the paddle. 🙂
Launching will be around 9:30am at Riverbend State Park. Follow signs to the kayak launch.

We'll get out at Jonathan Dickenson State Park. There is a $6 parking fee here according to their website so if you're shuttling, please expect to pay this small parking fee.

As far as I could tell there are no container or restrictions on personal items or drinks, but as always we will be mindful and respectful of the land and waterways and expect everyone to carry out what they carried in. There are some known portages. We will work as a team and ensure everyone gets up, over, around, and through any obstacles that we encounter.
A handful of us will be camping at Jonathan Dickenson State Park.

If you're travelling into town, but don't want to camp there are several area hotels. I've stayed at the Comfort Inn on Indiantown Rd. and recommend this property. Rates and reviews were good!
Several of the admin team will be in attendance so that means free STICKERS and lots of fun can be expected so come out and join us!!
