Second Sunday Poetry Jam

We’re turning two! Second Sunday Poetry Jam will celebrate our second birthday on September 14. Come join us for Juneau’s only monthly poetry open mic at Goldtown Nickelodeon in Downtown Juneau.

Bring poetry you’ve written, share the words of your favorite poets, or simply come to listen. Poetry Jam is a wonderful way to practice reading in front of a gentle and supportive audience.

Not a poet? No problem. We’ve had folks share fiction, nonfiction, prose, and some just come to soak up the words.

Join us at 2-4 p.m., Sunday, September 14, 2025, at Goldtown Nickelodeon Theater, downtown Juneau. Free! Donations welcome. All ages are welcome. Some subject matter may not be suitable for all ages.
