Art Reception for Butterfield Community Youth, an Ilan-Lael Summer Program

Join us for a vibrant celebration of creativity and community!

Over the summer, talented young artists from the Butterfield Community participated in a unique art program led by the Ilan-Lael Foundation. Each week, ILF artists traveled to the remote desert community to host workshops, share pizza (generously donated by JBC) , and bring people together through the power of art.

Come see the incredible results—an inspiring collection of student work in mosaic, photography, watercolor, papier-mâché, copper, and plaster sculpture—on display at the Julian Public Library community room.

This project was funded by a generous grant from the Conrad Prebys Foundation.
