Get ready for a spectacular autumn adventure on Sunday, September 21, 2025🍂
Join us on the famous Lebanese Mountain Trail (Section 15) from Baskinta to Zaarour, where nature, history & fresh mountain air await! 🌲
Baskinta, perched at 1,250 m altitude, is renowned for its breathtaking scenery, apple orchards & vineyards 🍎🍇. Our hike begins at Mikhail Naimy Garden (Chakhroub area), crossing Wadi El Dilb, passing Roman Temples of Tal Jouz, and ending by the stunning Zaarour Artificial Lake.
Expect:
🌄 Scenic valleys & hills
🏛️ Ancient Roman ruins
💦 Flowing streams & rocky formations
🥾 13 km trail (with an option to exit at 8–9 km)
Level: Moderate plus (5+/10)
Schedule:
🕖 Departure: 7:00 AM Dbayeh (under Naccache bridge – Demerjian Center)
7:25 AM Furn El Chebbak (Burger King)
🥐 Breakfast stop on the way
🕠 Return: ~5:30 PM
What to bring:
Hiking boots – Backpack – 2L water – Hat – Sunglasses – Sunscreen – Healthy snacks
Fees: $20 (includes transportation, guides, coffee, energy bar & first aid – excludes medical insurance)
