760 Snake Club is a solo outreach project of Paisley Ramstead (and a few friendly snake ambassador animals), started with the hopes of helping her community feel safer and more knowledgeable about local snakes and the important role they play in desert ecosystems.
In addition to offering rattlesnake relocations in 29 Palms, 760 Snake Club tables at local conservation-focused outreach events, offers children’s and family programming as requested throughout the Morongo Basin and Coachella Valley, and teaches the Snakes of Joshua Tree National Park through JTNPA’s Desert Institute. Paisley’s experience as a field biologist and hobby herpetologist makes her well equipped to help her community better understand snakes from both a scientific and neighborly point of view.
The Joshua Tree National Park Association works in partnership with Joshua Tree National Park to help in its achievement of programming goals in education and interpretation, along with scientific and historical research and activities. JTNPA has been supporting programming at Joshua Tree National Park since 1962. As the parks primary non-profit partner, we operate four visitor centers and two park stores that are often the first stop for visitors from around the world; offer a field institute with classes taught by experts in natural sciences, cultural history, and the arts; host special programs and events; and raise funds via donations and our membership program.Join us and make the most of your Joshua Tree Experience!
