Mark your calendars for Tuesday,August 5th, at 6 PM because The Gathering is back, and we're discussing something that many in our community deal with: Food Insecurity.
The chosen book for our August gathering is "Rebuilding the Foodshed: How to Create Local, Sustainable, and Secure Food Systems" by Philip Ackerman-Leist. There are many ways we can help those that are food insecure, let's focus on how we can make a real difference! So, this month, gather your best resources on ways we can positively impact our community and let's share them at our next gathering on August 5th! Your contributions can help us create meaningful change in our community.
But here's the best part: you absolutely do NOT need to read the book to join in! Just bring your thoughts, your experiences with food insecurity, your biggest fears, other cool articles you've read, or even just the burning questions you have about it. This is going to be a lively and fascinating conversation, and we can't wait to hear all your perspectives!

So, dust off your thinking caps, grab your favorite artificial intelligence reads (or just your enthusiasm!), and come join the conversation on August 5th. We can't wait to see you there and make this Gathering our most vibrant yet!
Look forward to seeing you all!
