Children ages 5-12 can explore and discover the arts and sciences in our fun and engaging weeklong S.T.E.A.M Summer Camp. Each day will focus on the exciting and educational exploration of one of the letters in S.T.E.A.M- Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Camp attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the 30+ exhibits in the museum including the Guinness Record holding Tesla Coil Show. Space is VERY limited to ensure safety, register early to secure a spot.

Science:
- Explore earth & space
- Magnetism challenges
- Create polymer putty and dough
- Play with air and bubbles
- Sound off challenge
- Enjoy a 1 hour fossil dig
Technology:
- Coding with Cubelets
- Explore alternative energy technology including solar & wind power
- Explore the world around us more deeply with a variety of technology tools including microscopes, Dino Scopes, Solar Scopes.
Engineering:
- Engineer an LED gadget
- Maker space free build
- Reverse engineering of gadgets, computers, and electronics
- Collaboratively build a chain reaction contraption
Art:
- Tie Dye a Hands On! tee shirt
- Paint a masterpiece
- Mold a sculpture
- Collaborative creation of a dramatic play
- Learn a fun new dance
Math:
- Fibonacci in the garden
- Nano science
- Explore patterns, tessellations, and geometry
- Games using dice, dominoes, and more
Times:
Drop-off: 9:00-9:15am
Early drop off is available between 8am-9am for $50 for the week
Pick-up: 4:30pm-4:45pm
Late pick up is available between 4:30-5:30pm. HODC recieved grant funding from GSK to support extended programming for 2025 summer camps and therefore late pick-up is at no cost this year. GSK's Be a Health Scientist! program invites children to take the role of scientists and engineers as they investigate problems related to human health and well-being.

All attendees MUST pre-register.
Ages:
Campers MUST be 5 years old by June 1, 2025, and no older than 12 years old on July 30, 2025.
