Depot Street Community Event

The Town of Jonesborough invites the public to join us for a special Depot Street Park Community Event on Friday, April 26th, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This drop-in style event will take place at Depot Street Park and is designed to gather valuable feedback from community members about the future of the park while offering a fun and family-friendly atmosphere. As a thank-you for participating, Sun Set Slush will be serving free Italian ice to anyone who completes a short survey about what improvements and features they’d like to see added to the park. Survey topics include playground upgrades, new amenities like splash pads and pavilions, and overall park safety and accessibility.

Adding to the festivities, Sista Bigfoot Soul Food and BBQ will be on-site, serving up their signature BBQ favorites for free for event attendees. The event will also include casual recreation opportunities such as cornhole, basketball, and refreshments.

Whether you’re a frequent visitor or someone who’s never been to Depot Street Park, everyone is welcome to stop by, enjoy the experience, and share their input.
