Jonesborough, TN – The Heritage Alliance invites you to step back in time and celebrate at the Country Picnic at the Schoolhouse, a lively, family-friendly fundraiser taking place on Friday, August 30, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Historic Oak Hill Schoolhouse, located at 212 Sabin Drive, Jonesborough, TN.
Join us for an old-fashioned good time complete with a quilt raffle of handstitched heirloom quilts, live music, cake tasting and a decorated cake competition, a photobooth, lemonade, face painting and historic lawn games, a picnic basket decorating station and competition, and a recipe swap!
Picnics should be brought by attendees, but drinks and cake will be provided by the Heritage Alliance.
Guests are encouraged to bring a decorated picnic basket, a homemade cake for the competition, and/or a recipe to contribute to the community recipe exchange. Whether you compete or simply enjoy the fun, there’s something for everyone!
