Music on the Square, one of Jonesborough’s outdoor music concerts, features Dom Flemons this Friday, September 12, in Downtown Jonesborough! 🎙️🎵
Music on the Square takes place in front of the Washington County Courthouse on Main Street in downtown Jonesborough each Friday evening through September 26th from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Dom Flemons, a Grammy-winning musician from Chicago, is famously known as “The American Songster®” since his repertoire covers more than 100 years of American roots music, including country, folk, bluegrass, Americana, and blues.
He is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, music scholar, historian, actor, narrator, host, slam poet, record collector, podcaster, and the creator, host, and producer of the American Songster Radio Show on WSM in Nashville, Tennessee.
This week's food truck is Maybe Today, serving Southern breakfast cuisine.
Music on the Square is a free event open to the public.
This season, Music on the Square will feature a diverse range of music including bluegrass, jazz, rock, americana and blues.
