Swing by any Jonesboro or Paragould Shadrachs on Thursday, October 2nd to support John 3:30!
Learn about the organization:
John 3:30 is a men’s ministry based out of Paragould, AR, founded by Spencer Hoffman. It is a group of men who come together to hold each other accountable, do mission work, and walk out their faith in practical ways. They are currently in the process of opening a discipleship Center for men who need guidance after addiction or the trials of life.
The ministry serves in many different areas:
Celebrate recovery
A discipleship group in Northwest TN
The “Guided” program, where men are paired with boys ages 14–18 to mentor them and model what it means to live a Godly life as a man
Jail ministry
A food pantry
Helping with odd jobs and needs in the community that often go unnoticed.
Most recently, John 3:30 inherited a church outside of Lafe through the Greene County Baptist Association. The building is over 100 years old and has not been in use for many years. The men are having to completely gut and rebuild the inside, keeping only the outer structure. This includes replacing floor joists, vinyl flooring, electrical work, and more. Once that labor is complete, they plan to build a second floor that will serve as the bedrooms for the men. That second floor will then need to be fully furnished so the men have a place to live and grow in Christ.
John 3:30 is doing all of the work themselves, trusting God to provide what is needed.
