I just recently moved to Johnston City, bought an old church and am offering arts and craft classes. I hope some of you who enjoy being creative, will come on out and give my classes a try!
Starting Thursday July, 24th at 5pm and again on Saturday July 26th at 3pm, we will be having our first classes.
We will be starting with a fun art game that I've been playing with a group of over 100 ladies online, for years. It's called "Mixed Media Mash-Up" and its a lot of fun! I use a stack of art prompt cards that give us all the steps to take to create a fun, messy, colorful piece of art. Its easy, anyone can do it and its great for people who are new to art and who may think art is intimidating and therefore they don't usually do it. Its also great for more experienced artist who just want to get together, make some new friends and have a fun evening of doing some messy art where you dont have to think too much because its all about the fun of just doing something creative. All the card prompts have simple art tasks on them that anyone can do like collaging, adding random colors with paint, stamping, etc. And all the supplies are provided for you. And the best thing about it is.... you dont need to know a lick about art, you dont need to know how to paint, draw or anything!
By the end of the class you will have had loads of fun and laughs with some new friends. The ladies I would do this with online would come to the live online class week after week because they just had so much fun doing it! And since the cards picked each week are different, your art piece turns out completely different each time!
The class is only $20 per person! You can't do anything fun anymore for just 20 bucks! And believe me, you will get your moneys worth of fun!

The class will be about 3 hours and we will have free coffee, tea and water. Classes are open to anyone 16 and older.
Keep in mind, we will also be having many other classes like Journal making, Card making, Jewelry Making, Artist Trading Card making, Mixed Media Tag making, Junk Journals, Mixed Media Art Journaling, Resin jewelry making, Paint Pouring and so much more! These first classes are just a great way to get to know you and have a lot of fun in the process!
And yes, in the future we will be having some kids classes but right now I am not equipped for that but look for that to start happening next year.
