Back 2 School Bash 2025

Good Samaritan Ministries (GSM), with local businesses and partners, plans to give away over 2,000 backpacks with necessary school supplies at the annual Back 2 School Bash at Freedom Hall on August 3! The event is free and open to the public - no registration is necessary.

Along with the backpack and school supplies, GSM will celebrate the new school year with live music from Fiddlin’ Carson Peters & the Iron Mountain Band, food trucks (children get free food vouchers), inflatables, raffles, free haircuts, and book and Bible giveaway! The event will be from 4-7pm.

Parking in Lot A. Event will be held in the practice fields adjacent to Freedom Hall Pool.

This event is also in conjunction with GSM’s summer food program, giving registered families in need of assistance a summer food box in both June and July. Registration can be found at goodsamjc.org/summer or by calling 423-928-1958.
