Presented by the National School of the Arts in partnership with WITS Theatre | 9–10 May 2025
The National School of the Arts proudly returns to the WITS Theatre for the 2025 edition of Dance Spectrum, titled ECHOES. This highly anticipated annual production showcases the talent and training of NSA’s senior dance learners across Ballet, Spanish, and Contemporary, along with two newly commissioned works from celebrated alumni Tshepo Zasekhaya and Llewellyn Mnguni.
A space rich in memory and meaning for generations of NSA dancers, the WITS Theatre sets the stage for this year’s performances—where the echoes of the past meet the artistry of the present.
Dance Spectrum: ECHOES offers audiences a chance to experience the energy, discipline, and passion of NSA’s Dance Department. Under the leadership of Heather Dreyer, and supported by a team of acclaimed educators—Kitty Phetla, Laura Cameron, Gillian Bonegio, and Haydee Baker—NSA continues to set the standard in public arts education.
With professional staging and choreography rooted in personal reflection and artistic growth, this production is more than a showcase—it’s a celebration of legacy, training, and the spirit of young artists stepping into their own.
Don’t miss this special opportunity to support the dancers of tomorrow—on a stage that still resonates with the footsteps of those who came before them.
