Ah Men – Inside Out returns with its fourth installment in the six-part series exploring masculinity through the lens of poetry. This edition features a double bill of powerful performances by Jonathan Lefenya and Zéwande Bk Bhengu, offering a deeply moving poetic experience rooted in truth, vulnerability, and the complexity of manhood.
Jonathan Lefenya is a published poet, performer, and digital creative whose work blends emotion, movement, and narrative with striking honesty. Known for his productions Leru la Mahlomola and (in)tangible, his poetry reaches into the personal and political with unmatched intensity.
Zéwande Bk Bhengu is a celebrated writer, performer, and filmmaker. With performances that have travelled from Johannesburg to Paris and Madrid, Zéwande explores themes of Black masculinity, mental health, and identity through layered, provocative storytelling.
Hosted by Afurakan and set within the End of the Game exhibition and curated around the season’s theme Man.Power, this event invites you to listen, reflect, and feel.
