IKYA Community Summer Party 2025

Herberglille farm in Oppaker about 1 hour east of Oslo
Family, children and friends with some familiarity with IKYA and the community are warmly welcome, too! Dogs on leash are welcome as a last resort if you absolutely cannot find another solution than bringing them. 🦮
We are upgrading last year's success to a mini-festival-retreat full of love, growth and co-creation. Herberglille Farm in Oppaker has both horses, a newborn baby horse, cows and calves, chickens – and we will be together all of us with the animals. 🩵
This summer solstice and midsummer's eve is a fantastic opportunity to get even more time together with our fellow IKYA students and to lift our community even more.
FOOD AND DRINK
As last year, everyone brings food to share with some snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. We each bring one dish per person, enough for 5 portions, made with love from the heart.
Additionally, we each bring either dessert for 5 portions or grill/evening food for 5 portions. We each also bring our own drinks and snacks as desired.
ACTIVITIES
There will be activities throughout the day, but also plenty of time to just be together, to enjoy the farm and to have a good time together.

19:00 Guri, Mats and company with slam poetry, circle song, music, dance
21:00 Tear-down team gets started
We can spend time with the animals and wander down to the beach at Glomma reservoir, just a 15-minute walk from the farm. Swimming and socializing by the water adds another dimension to our gathering.
PRACTICAL
Saturday, 21 June 2025, approx. 13:00 - 22:00 Oslo time
Remember to bring extra clothes and shoes/boots, blankets, towels for swimming, sunscreen, sunglasses, hats. Possibly a carpet or pillows to sit on and anything else you need for a day outdoors.
Transportation options:

Train from Oslo S to Kløfta - the trip takes 25 minutes and leaves 14 minutes over every hour. From Kløfta, continue by bus to Herbergåsen; it takes another 30 min and leaves 11 minutes after every hour. Tickets cost only NOK 129 and can be purchased in the Ruter app. It is 800 meters to walk from the stop to the farm.
By car, it is about one hour from Oslo. Those who drive and have a free space are asked to post a message in the IKYA Community Facebook group to bring other students along.
In the spirit of co-creation, we need help with up- and down-rigging of the party. Email to Ingunn Fystro Hauge what might suit you, arriving early or leaving late.
