The Full 'Flower' Moon Rise

The full moon in May corresponds with the wildflower blooms at this time of year, hence the name "Flower" moon.
In other parts of the world it is known as the budding or seed moon which represents different aspects of the natural world at Spring time.

Sunset time: 20.41
Once again we shall be pointing the telescope and binoculars
skyward to explore a different world.
We will take a look at the lunar craters, constellations and satellites passing overhead.
As always, we are hoping for a clear sky and gentle winds!

Please meet us at the benches above Long Beach car park, Grouville, from 20.30 onwards.

If you have binoculars and a folding chair please bring them along.
Warm clothing, a blanket and a hot drink could be useful too!
*There are binoculars available to borrow.*

For the swimmers ...high tide is at 19.24 at a massive 10.2m
For the hungry ... Fish and Chips are available in the village from 17.00. A very nice treat!
