VR Driver's Education Program Fall 2025

Introduction
VR Drivers Education offers a tiered program designed to prepare new drivers for safe and responsible driving through immersive learning experiences. The program consists of three tiers: Silver, Gold, and Platinum, each building upon the previous one to enhance knowledge and skills.

• Covers essential traffic laws, road signs, and right-of-way rules.
• Understanding Your Vehicle - VR Training: 5 hours
• Interactive training on vehicle components and basic maintenance.
• Defensive Driving Course (Lecture): 10 hours
• Focuses on proactive driving strategies and hazard recognition.

• General Drivers’ Education (Traffic Laws): 25 hours
• Same comprehensive traffic law education as Tier 1.
• Understanding Your Vehicle - VR Training: 5 hours
• Continues to reinforce vehicle understanding through VR.
• Defensive Driving Course (Lecture): 10 hours
• Builds on defensive techniques and includes additional scenarios.
• Permit Test Preparation: 2 hours
• Prepares learners for the written permit test.
• Extra Simulated Driving: 5 hours
• Provides additional practice in a controlled virtual environment.

• In-depth coverage of traffic laws, similar to previous tiers.
• Understanding Your Vehicle - VR Training: 5 hours
• Continues to enhance understanding of vehicle mechanics.
• Defensive Driving Course (Lecture): 10 hours
• Further emphasizes defensive driving techniques.
• Permit/Vision/Road Test Preparation: 5 hours
• Comprehensive preparation for all aspects of driver testing.
• Extra Simulated Driving: 10 hours
• Extended practice time for advanced driving scenarios.
• Improvement Tracking & Progress Reports
• Regular assessments and feedback to track learner progress.
