Introduction to American Sign Language Level I; Session I (In-Person)

Welcome to the Introduction to American Sign Language Session I!

Join us for a fun and interactive in-person event where you can learn the basics of American Sign Language. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, this session is perfect for you.

Our event will be held at 704 Grand St, where you'll have the opportunity to practice signing with others and gain a better understanding of this beautiful language.

Each session consist of 6 classes. We meet every Satruday in Bergen-Lafayette Jersey City, our door is the one with TIME2ASL poster in the window.

This session's schedule has a total of six classes: Saturdays, August 23, 2025 and will end September 27, 2025.

Each session consist of six (6) classes of basic instruction. Once you complete all six classes you may register for Level II.

Info: We will learn how to finger spell, understanding basic signs, importance of facial expressions, body language and how it ties into sign language, sentence structure, and culture. Each session consist of six classes before moving up to Level II.
