This workshop is on neuroplasticity - how our brain and body change in response to the environment and how we can take advantage of these biological mechanisms to actively direct change in ourselves.
We will be diving into how this effects our psychological identity, motivation, and thought patterns. We will take a Psychological frame to Neuroplasticity looking at how neural networks lead to patterns of associations in the brain and lead our stream of consciousness. We further this discussion on the mind-body including the theories of epigenetics (the change of genetic expression through directed behaviors and how we can take advantage of these biological mechanisms for change.
