Studio 203A's "Portrait Session" are offered at the Jerome Art Center in Building A, Room #203. These sessions are held on the 2nd, 4th, and 5th Saturdays of each month, from Noon to 3pm, with a live, clothed model.
The 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month will continue to offer "Life Drawing Sessions" with a live nude model.
The goal of these sessions is to build an artistic community that creates together (sharing experience and knowledge) in an "open-studio" format. This is not an instructional class, so we do not offer drawing lessons. Rather, this is intended as an art-making, model-sharing studio lab where artists come together to create in their own unique styles and mediums.
Participants of all artistic levels are welcome. A suggested donation of $25 per person is appreciated for this 3-hour sitting. Tips for the model are also appreciated.
Participants should plan to bring their own art materials to draw, paint, or sculpt the model. If you do not have supplies, we have charcoal and newsprint on-site for your initial visit.
