The Garden in Your Gut: The 101 on the Human Microbiome
As a horticulturist, Terri Pinder understands the importance of planting in healthy soil. She knows that soil needs to be rich in organic matter and alive with beneficial microbes. As well, as a Holistic Nurse Practitioner, she has seen firsthand how imbalances in the body’s ecosystem can negatively affect your health.
During this class, you’ll first discover the basics of cultivating the “garden in your gut” to support overall wellness. Then, you will explore how gut health directly connects to key aspects of daily life, including:
Immune response
Mood and mental clarity
Cardiovascular function
Digestion, bowel health, and weight balance
Nutritional status
By the end, you’ll see how nurturing your internal ecosystem can help you feel healthier, more balanced, and more resilient.
